RadioMatic opens its beta across all plans
From today, SmartLabel B.V. makes all four RadioMatic plans available immediately. Business spaces can start using their own fully AI-generated radio station without joining a waiting list.
GRONINGEN, the Netherlands — SmartLabel B.V. today opens the RadioMatic beta across all plans. Where new customers previously had to join a waiting list, shops, showrooms, treatment rooms and chains can now start straight away. Every plan begins with a fourteen-day free trial and can be cancelled monthly after that.
RadioMatic uses generative AI to compose a complete radio station for a business space. Beyond music, that means AI presenters who pick up the mood of each part of the day and mention the business by name, regional news on the hour, and the operator’s own promotions between tracks. Everything is steered centrally from a single dashboard, whether that is one site or several hundred.
Because the music is generated entirely by AI, there is no human composer or lyricist and therefore no copyright for Buma/Stemra to collect on. Nor is there a performing artist or a commercially released phonogram, which means Sena has no basis for collection either. The full legal reasoning is published as a memorandum on radiomatic.ai.
Plans run from Free to Enterprise, priced per location per month and excluding VAT. radiomatic.ai carries a calculator that works out what a given business currently pays each year to Buma/Stemra and Sena, based on the official 2026 rates.
With SmartLabel we have been on the front line of music and technology since 2020. Now that generative AI reaches this level, we think it is time to hand it to the operators themselves. Judge it for yourself: fourteen days of listening costs nothing.
