RadioMatic makes music for businesses a lot more affordable

Almost every shop, showroom, waiting room and office plays music that nobody consciously hears. Yet business owners pay a substantial amount for it every year. The average shop pays €1,385 a year in licensing fees and on top of that they also pay for their music subscription.
RadioMatic, a new service from the Dutch music tech company SmartLabel, puts an end to that. With this new product, all of these costs disappear. The platform generates custom radio or a regular playlist and streams it straight to the speakers. So apart from their RadioMatic subscription, businesses have no extra costs and pay a lot less for music.
One dashboard with a distinct atmosphere for every location
RadioMatic is more than a custom playlist. It’s a complete radio station that can be set up per location, with different programmes that each have their own DJ and style for each part of the day and can be fully tailored to your wishes. And RadioMatic goes further still. You can set up your stations to mention your brand by name, share local news and you can introduce your own promotions and jingles.

How does RadioMatic work?
RadioMatic streams AI-generated music based on how you set up your radio station. We work with a model trained on material that is demonstrably free to use or licensed. We want to make sure that artists who have not given permission for AI training are not used for it. We also check the output, so we can confirm that everything is in order.
